About Us

Ebenezer Church is more than a historic building. We are a living community of people who gather to worship, share life's experiences, support one another and explore what it means to follow Jesus in today's world.

Our congregation has its roots in the pioneering families who established Ebenezer in 1809. Their commitment to faith, education, and community continues to inspire us, even as we seek new ways to respond to the opportunities and challenges of contemporary life.

We believe that Christian faith is not simply about preserving traditions, but about discovering how God's love can be expressed through compassion, hospitality, justice and service.

Whether you have been part of a church community for many years, are exploring faith for the first time or simply wish to find a place where you belong, you are welcome at Ebenezer.

Ebenezer Church is part of the Uniting Church in Australia and shares in the wider Green Hills Parish alongside Scots Church at Pitt Town and Windsor Uniting Church.

Each of our churches has its own history, character and connection with the surrounding community. Together, we support one another in worship, pastoral care, community engagement, and service.

Ebenezer and Scots Church at Pitt Town have shared a particularly close relationship for generations, forming one congregation worshipping in two historic locations.

The Reverend Martin Levine leads our shared ministry, working alongside lay leaders, volunteers, and members of our congregations.

Together, we are building a welcoming, engaged Christian presence across the Hawkesbury, honouring our heritage while staying open to new possibilities for the future.

There is no single way to belong to a community of faith.

Some people join us regularly for Sunday worship. Others participate in community activities, volunteer their time, visit the historic church or simply appreciate having a place for quiet reflection.
